ResponDrone attended the Driver+ Final Conference, following an invitation by Dr. Marcel van Berlo, the Technical Coordinator of the Driver+ project and member of the ResponDrone advisory board.

The ResponDrone Project has recently established a Project Advisory Board comprising recognized experts of international standing to provide ongoing specialist advice, guidance and feedback.

Project coordinator Joonas Lieb from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) presented the project’s objectives and vision on assisting first responders in crisis situations.

First responders view the constant provision of real-time information in crisis situations as one of the most valued benefits arising from the usage of drones in disaster management missions.

Twenty-five participants came together in order to align the needs of first responders with the ResponDrone system to be developed in the context of the ResponDrone project.

The international ResponDrone Project is attracting much attention, illustrated by the fact that it has recently been presented at four different events, which took place in Armenia, Korea and Greece.
